Transponder Maker Pro (also known as TMPro keymaker or TMPro2 keymaker) is a programmer and software for programming and copying transponders for car keys, and with some modules, it can also calculate the PIN code / security code. The programmer needs to be connected to the computer’s USB port and does not require external power. The software interface supports 14 languages – Bulgarian, English, French, Portuguese, Polish, Hungarian, Spanish, Serbian, Italian, Czech, Chinese, Greek, Turkish, and Romanian. The programmer and all software can be automatically updated to the latest version available on the server.
TMPro2 is designed as modular software. Initially, you can purchase the TMPro2 programmer without additional software and use it only with the main software, e.g., for key checking. In the future, when you receive a request from a customer, you can quickly and easily add new software using a simple software purchase system.
The program works with immobilizer data files. You must have electronic knowledge and know how to use soldering and desoldering tools and memory device programmers. It is up to you which programmer you use to read EEPROM and processor memories, either the TMPro2 memory device programmer or another programmer (elnec, vvdi, …). To program a transponder, you need to select the control unit or immobox or dashboard or BSI (UCH, BCM, …) module from the vehicle. Then open and desolder the memory device or solder wires to test points and read it. Depending on the vehicle, the memory device may be a serial EEPROM, Motorola MCU, Microchip PIC MCU, ST10F269 MCU, Texas Instruments MCU, etc.
Working with TMPro2 is simple. Electronics knowledge and equipment such as a soldering iron, hot air gun, multimeter, etc., are necessary. You also need to know which unit contains key data and its location in the vehicle. In some units, the memory device is easily accessible, but in others, it is not so simple – you may need to cut a hole, remove silicone, etc. Once the type of memory device is identified, you must find out how to read or possibly write it.
Statistically:
- For 70% of the software, reading and writing memory devices can be done either using the TMPro2 program or another programmer.
- For 5% of the software, reading and writing must be done using the TMPro2 program.
- For 25% of the software, you must use another programmer to read and write memory devices.
The memory device can be:
- Serial EEPROM – all 93cXX, 24cXX, 25c/95cXXX, X5328, S29190, X24c01, 95p08 are supported. The EEPROM adapter has ports for 3 different types – DIL, SMD, and SSOP.
- Motorola 912/9S12 processor (unlocked), ST10F269, or Moric. To read or write these processors, you must use a cable with 8 stripped wires. Solder the wires to the points according to the connection diagram for the specific software.
- Motorola HC805P18 processor. To read or write this processor, you must use the TMPro2 Motorola HC805P18 adapter. Desolder the processor from the immobox and solder it to the adapter.
- Microchip PIC processor. To read or write Microchip PIC, you must use the TMPro2 PIC adapter. Solder the wires to the points according to the connection diagram for the specific software. To connect the adapters to the TMPro2 box, you must use the adapter cable.
- Motorola HC05/HC908/HC11 processor, Motorola 9S12 (locked), flash memory, TMS370C702. To read or write these memory devices, you must use another programmer.
NOTE: The Microchip PIC adapter, EEPROM adapter, cable with 8 stripped wires, and adapter cable are part of the basic TMPro2 kit. The Motorola HC805P18 adapter is not part of the basic TMPro2 kit. You can purchase it with the basic set or later.
After reading, you can save the read file if you wish. If you use another programmer to read and write memory devices, then after reading the memory device and saving the file with your programmer, you must load this file into the TMPro2 program by clicking the Open File button.

Examples of what TMPro2 can do:
- Vehicles Range Rover and Land Rover 2001-2010
- TMPro2 is the FIRST tool in the world that can create a key for Range Rover Sport and Land Rover LR3 with PIC18F6620 in BCM. It is also the FIRST tool in the world that can create a key for Land Rover with SAWDOC immobilizer with PIC18F252.
- Using specific software 40, 174, 180, 181, 199, you can program a transponder ready to start the vehicle. For Range Rover Sport or Land Rover LR3, the remote part of the key will be programmed and work correctly.
- Vehicles Fiat, Lancia, Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, Citroen CODE2
- Using software modules 6, 7, 8, 9, 45, 48, 59, 100, 112, 118, 175, 194, the software prepares a chip (transponder) programmed to start the vehicle. The software also displays the PIN code if you need to program the keys using OBD2.
- Note: The part of the key intended for remote control using PCF7946 will be programmed and work correctly.
- Vehicles Porsche 1997-2005 with PAS ALARM unit using ID13 or ID48 in the key
- Using specific software 54 or 165, you can quickly solve the loss of the key or make a spare key, you do not need the car in the workshop, only the PAS ALARM unit.
- Vehicles Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Peugeot, and Citroen
- Use 4C, 4D-60, 4D-67, 4D-68, 4D-70, 6D-72, and 128-bit AES chips? You no longer need to wait for the immobox and ECU reset and use expensive dealer keys. Using specific software 52, 83, 87, 92, 153, 188, you can program a transponder ready to start the vehicle.
- Trucks Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, Renault, DAF, Scania, Mitsubishi Canter Fuso
- Using specific software 34, 37, 51, 53, 88, 93, 151, 170, you can solve the problem of a lost key or create a spare key.
